Brian Ball has been a Software Engineer with Software Engineering Professionals (SEP) since 2000. He has worked as a web developer and tester on both embedded engine controls and rich client software in regulated environments. He has an interest in technical training and has taught internal courses in Perl, Ruby on Rails, and Design Patterns. At SEP, Brian helps manage the Academy and assists IT operations along with his client projects. Brian practices GTD to juggle his various responsibilities in the face of seemingly constant interruptions and new commitments. Brian is a 2000 graduate of Rose-Hulman and is a participating member of the IndyALT.NET user group.
Francine Carter founded Action Coaching & Training, LLC in January 2003. The company vision is to be recognized as a company focusing on action, responsibility, results, and gratitude for the potential we reach. The mission of ACT, LLC is to take action and partner with individuals and organizations to explore and enhance strengths and talents leading to the fullest potential. She works with companies of all sizes representing all industries. Her focus is on honest/open communication with high internal opportunistic energy to reach the potential of the individual and the company as a whole.
Francine holds credentials as a Certified Excellence Coach (CEC) trained by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching, is Energy Leadership Index - Master Practitioner (ELI - MP) trained by the iPEC, holds a Professional Certified Coach (PCC) designation from the International Coach Federation (ICF), and is a Licensed Coaching Clinic Facilitator from Coach U. In addition, she also holds a license as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Bachelors and Masters degrees of Social Work from Indiana University.
Cory Mausolf started her professional career as a Recruiter in 2001 helping small to mid-sized companies find the right candidate to fill positions in Management, Sales, and Engineering. In 2007 Cory shifted professions staying in the Career Management industry specializing in Information Technology. She ran a very successful Career Service Department for a Microsoft I.T. Training Facility that opened the doors to a Campus Director role in a year. Due to the demand and personal success with her students Cory formed her Business; Authentic Business and Career Coaching in later 2008 providing the opportunity to work with more people seeking career advice.
Her business specializes in helping people understand their strengths, gain clarity in direction and fulfillment of career goals by utilizing her coaching methodology supported by her Career Coaching certification. As a trained Resume Writer and Interview Coach she works with job seekers to improve their job search and marketing plans to position them for an offer. She is also a certified Etiquette Trainer helping companies and managers properly conduct business efficiently and effectively through team building, time management and employee positioning potential.
Robby Slaughter is the founder of Slaughter Development, a workflow and productivity consulting company. After an extensive career in IT systems development, Robby realized that the principal challenges affecting individual workers are not technological in nature, but psychological. He discovered that to become more effective and efficient at work, we need to empower individuals with authority and responsibility. His consulting practice now focuses exclusively on assessing workflow challenges, helping stakeholders to design and develop new business processes, and implement systematic, stakeholder-driven changes throughout the organization. Chris Wingate is a Principal Software Engineer for Liberty Mutual. His primary focuses are the areas of performance testing and test automation. On any given week, Chris might juggle commitments across three to seven projects, from Java to .NET, web applications to mainframe, across different application areas within the company, and located in different time zones. To make that happen, he's developed his own methods of figuring out how to prioritize work and for figuring out what really needs to be delivered for each project to be successful. Chris is a regular attendee of the Indianapolis Workshops on Software Testing, and is currently remodeling (some would say rebuilding) a home in Indianapolis.
